Head chef Candelario Chavez remembers his love of Mexican
cuisines stemming from helping his mother prepare dishes as
a child in Durango, Mexico. After arriving to the beautiful
state of Nebraska, Candelario wanted to recreate the same
flavors, taste, and feeling of awe that he remembered from
his hometown. With his wife and two sons, Candelario founded
Del Rio in 2018. Today, Del Rio makes enchiladas, tamales,
tacos, salsas, and more created by hand with fresh
ingredients.
